A Message to the Washington County Economic Summit Attendees

Now what?

Like I said in my presentation: You can decided that everything I said was just feel good, sit around a campfire holding hands singing Kumbaya, rubbish.

OR

You can decide that things will be different for you and your company.  Success is measured by actions.  I love this quote by Theodore Roosevelt

“It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better.  The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena: whose face is marred by the dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again… who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions and spends himself in a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory or defeat.”

Are you a doer of deeds?  I think you are.  I think you can be successful in all aspects of your life.  Your home can be happier, your business can thrive, you can be better and reach higher than you ever thought possible.
